Christine West

Christine West is a senior artist who has been painting since she was a young girl. Growing up in a strong artistic environment, she developed her practice over many years, keeping cultural stories and knowledge alive through her work.

Christine has also passed these skills on to the next generations of her family. She taught her daughter, Madeline, how to paint, and later her granddaughter Riccia. Through this sharing of knowledge, Christine has played an important role in continuing a family tradition of painting, ensuring that stories and cultural knowledge remain strong within her community.
