Myra Richards

Myra Richards was born in Warburton, where she has lived all her life. She discovered her passion for painting at a young age, learning the basics while still at school.
Her favourite story to paint is Bush Medicine, a theme that reflects the deep knowledge of plants and their healing properties passed down through generations. Through her work, Myra celebrates the strength of women’s knowledge, the connection between people and the land, and the importance of caring for both.
Painting remains an important part of her life, allowing her to share her culture and creativity with others.
