Riccia Jackson

Riccia Jackson was born in Kalgoorlie and has spent her life in Warburton. She paints side by side with her mother, Madeline Jackson, sharing time and knowledge together at the art centre.

Through colours and patterns, Riccia places on canvas very old stories connected to her Country and family. Painting alongside her mother allows her to continue learning and strengthening these traditions. Her work reflects the close bond between generations and the importance of keeping cultural stories alive through art.
