Wetlands are celebrated by our people. They are places of great beauty and attract many important animals. Animals like fish, birds and wallabies. During the wet season everything is flooded and all the wetlands connect to each other. When the dry season comes the wetlands shrink and all the animals and life become more concentrated. This is the best time for us to visit these places and drag a net and see what we can catch.

Prints and paintings will be posted rolled up in a tube.
Postage or freight for prints, paintings, small sculptures 100cm maximum will be included in price presented.
Larger sculptures will be send via Pack and Send Cairns at the buyers expense. The Pormpuraaw Art Centre staff will assist with facilitating transport

If for some reason work does not arrive or is damaged on route then full refund is available.
The postal service from the remote community of Pormpuraaw is often delayed. Please allow an extra 1 to 2 weeks to the Australia Post expected arrival time.

- Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair takes no responsibility for the negotiation, coordination or distribution of freight and shipping of purchases made at the online Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair. Items customers wish to purchase may require a manual quote for freight which will be charged separately.
- Shipping and freight costs are not included in the advertised purchase price unless this is stipulated at the point of purchase of the item by the Art Centre/Vendor.
- All freight and shipping must be arranged directly with the Art Centre/Vendor from where the purchase was made.
- If multiple items are purchased from different Art Centres/Vendors in the same transaction, customers must arrange shipping with each Art Centre/Vendor.
- Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair takes no responsibility for the distribution and arrival times of freight. As the Art Centres/Vendors participating in the online Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair are located in some of the most remote locations in Australia, freight services can be inconsistent.
