Longtime ago I was doing Batik here in Arlparra. Always painted  devil story, my mothers dreaming, Nancy Petyarr. I was watching my mother, learning from my mother. She was telling story about that Mountain Devil.
She was also painting Awelye story. I did Awelye when I was becoming a woman. 12 years old. I was watching, on Alhalker Country. My father was hunting everyday near Utopia Homestead out at 3 Bore.
