Pearl began creating art from a young age, inspired by family teachings, cultural values, and the stories passed down through generations. With extensive hands-on experience gained through workshops and participation in community events, including UMI Arts exhibitions and CIAF, their practice has developed through lived experience and continuous learning. Working primarily with acrylic on linen, she draws inspiration from the bush, landscapes, animals, and birds, weaving together memories of homeland, childhood experiences, and family stories. Through her work, she shares meaningful cultural narratives and thoughtfully explores issues that continue to shape everyday life and community connections.
