About Walkatjara Art
Walkatjara Art is an Aboriginal-owned and governed not-for-profit art centre supporting Anangu artists living in Mutitjulu. Every artwork is created by Anangu artists with strong connections to Country, Culture and Tjukurpa.
Walkatjara Art operates a gallery within the Uluru Cultural Centre, where visitors can experience and purchase authentic artworks directly from the art centre. We also have a working studio in the Mutitjulu community, providing a dedicated creative space where artists come together to paint, share stories, pass on cultural knowledge and connect across generations.
The art centre supports projects that strengthen culture and community, including trips on Country, intergenerational learning, and opportunities for artists to develop their artistic practice and skills. Every purchase directly supports Anangu artists and helps sustain the art centre's cultural, creative and community programs.

Shipping policy
Walkatjara Art carefully packages each artwork to ensure it arrives safely. Orders are typically dispatched within 2–4 business days unless otherwise advised. As we are located in a remote community, dispatch and delivery times may be longer than standard shipping timeframes. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Shipping costs and logistics will be organise between the custome and Walkatjara Art seperately to the purchase of the artwork. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information where available.
While we take every care in packaging your order, if your artwork arrives damaged, please contact Walkatjara Art within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of the item and packaging so we can assist you.
Refund policy
Walkatjara Art does not offer refunds for change of mind. As each artwork is unique and handcrafted, all sales are final.
If your order arrives damaged, is faulty, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact Walkatjara Art within 7 days of delivery with your order details and photographs of the item and packaging. We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, provide a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Return policy
Due to the unique, handcrafted nature of our artworks, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact Walkatjara Art within 7 days of delivery so we can work with you to resolve the issue.
